No tryouts for Jesus

There are no tryouts for Jesus. 

No tryouts to have someone pay the price of sin. 

or tryouts to be loved,

tryouts to be known,

to be seen,

for support in the darkest moments, 

or tryouts to be understood. 

In a world where there are cuts and cancels, 

and phrases like "not good enough." 

Jesus never agreed to tryouts.
